Dr Fisher qualified in 1980 from the Royal Dental Hospital. He gained BDS from the University of London  and received the LDS from the Royal College of Surgeons. He then continued to work in hospital in oral surgery, and restorative dentistry.

He took up posts as an associate in general practice in London before coming to the City in 1989.

Since then he has built Barbican Dental Practice into a thriving practice with a reputation for care and personal service.

Patients who value a good relationship with their medical personnel built on confidence and trust, have enjoyed being under his personal care for many years.

He attends postgraduate courses regularly to keep updated. In the last few years implants have been the focus of his training.

Last year he successfully completed a course in the diagnostic, surgical and prosthetic aspects of implantology.

He also takes a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry as well as endodontics.

He is a member of the BDA and subscribes to a number of leading journals. He is registered with the GDC no: 54898 and with the DDU.

Nurse

Jane qualified as a dental nurse from Kings College Hospital London and has worked as a dental nurse at the practice for ten years. She knows all the patients well and takes a keen interest in their welfare.

Jane says,

 “Nervous patients especially, feel very reassured seeing familiar faces and being known to them over many years makes them think of us as an extension of their circle of friends.”

Manager

Beate acts as our practice manageress ensuring the smooth running of the practice. She is a qualified accountant and is responsible for the book keeping and stock control. She helps ensure that the patients’ concerns and queries are dealt with promptly.

Dawn Sherry
Originally from Warwickshire, Dawn trained at Guys Hospital and now lives in Enfield with her husband and four sons.

Dawn works full time amongst four different practices and spends her free time chauffering her sons to their various sporting commitments around the country, which she thoroughly enjoys.

Dawn has worked at the practice since November 05 and finds it a very friendly and relaxed team to be part of.
